After the death of her grandfather, young Kit Tyler must move from her pampered tropical home to the harsh world of colonial Connecticut. Life in a early American Puritan community holds several challenges for such an independent, spirited young lady, and her neighbors soon react with suspicion. Kit makes a friend of  a lonely, outcast old woman and finds herself accused -- standing trial for witchcraft!
