NCT puts much thought and planning into our Special Events.
Some are for families, some for teachers, and some are just for kids!
After-words post-show events
For each show in NCT's 2009-10 season, NCT will present one special post-show event - we're calling these After-words. The goal of an After-words event is to reveal or explain some of the happenings behind the scenes and maybe discuss some of the ideas of the play.
If you are curious, then please plan to stay an extra 45 minutes or so after the below performances.

Special Opening Night Educator Events
These evenings consist of a workshop that qualifies for professional development hours in many districts. Performances on Opening Nights begins at 6:30 pm and prior to that teachers can enjoy a wine and cheese reception, a brief lesson demonstration and a discussion of activities that explore the curricular connections of the production! NCT will be hosting an educator preview for each show this season.
Registration and reception begin at 5 pm, and the workshop begins at 5:30 pm. Educators may purchase additional tickets for this performance of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer at the school rate of $7.00/person
This invitation also includes two tickets to the 6:30 p.m. Opening Night performance.
Fresh Filmmaker's Competition
 NCT and Nashville Film Festival are hosting our second annual youth film competition! Finalists will be screened after the 6:30 pm performance of The Diary of Anne Frank on Saturday, February 6. Anyone attending this event will receive a free festival voucher to the Nashville Film Festival in April.

NCT’s First Ever Rockin’ Lock-in!
 An all-night party at NCT!!! Join us for a rockin’ time with lots of games, movies on the big screen, glamrock make-up instruction, dancing and an NCT Idol contest on stage. Come rock out with us!
When: Saturday, March 6, 2010
Who: 6 - 12th grade
Drop-off: 8:00 pm
Pick-up: 8:00 am
Cost: $50/person

Includes pizza and beverages on Saturday night and donuts on Sunday morning.
NCT's Rockin' Lock-in requires advanced reservation, and you can register online.
NCT reserves the right to cancel if the minimum reservation number is not met.
