2007-08
NCT Volunteer Opportunities
For over seven decades, community volunteers have played
a leading role at NCT. Our 2007-08 Season includes a variety
of opportunities for volunteers to get involved with Nashville
Children's Theatre, where we work each day to make meaningful,
professional theatre a vital part of the childhood experience
for young people in Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
Volunteer Ushers: Volunteer ushers are needed for both the
Theatre's School Performance Series and Weekend Family Performance
Series. Over 200 school performances are scheduled each year, with
performances at 10:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. during the week. NCT's
Weekend Family matinees are offered at 2:30 p.m. throughout the season,
and a full performance schedule is included in the Children's Theatre's
season brochure.
Special Event Volunteers: From family fundraisers
to blues concerts, NCT special events volunteers help with a variety
of fun
extravaganzas. Help out with the NCT's 9th Annual Grand
Day or sign
up to assist with the 11th Annual Dragon's Concert in 2008.
Each year the Dragon's Concert draws an amazing line-up of
artists, with
headliner Delbert McClinton and friends like John Hiatt, Michael
McDonald, Bekka and Bonnie Bramlett, Marcia Ball, Clay McClinton,
Big Al Anderson and many more.
